CELL PHONE STORE ROBBERY SUSPECTS WANTED
HOUSTON – Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) robbery investigators need the public’s help in identifying two suspects responsible for an armed robbery earlier this month at a mobile phone store in west Harris County.
Around noon on Friday, June 3, 2011, the suspects entered the Cell Proz store at 7030 Addicks Clodine Rd. and pretended to be customers. Video
The first suspect selected a phone and approached a19-year-old store employee. When the employee turned his back, the second suspect jumped over the counter, put a gun to the employee’s head and ordered him to lock the door. The employee was placed on the floor and robbed of his personal belongings before being hit in the head and left in the bathroom with his wrists tied. The suspects stayed in the store for approximately 15 minutes, taking numerous merchandise items.
The victim was threatened and fears for his safety. He does not want to be contacted and is requesting to remain anonymous.
The first suspect is described as a heavy-set black male, 6’01” to 6’03”, wearing a black hat, black T-shirt and green and black army-style pants. The second suspect is described as a black male, weighing 240-250 lbs., 6’01” to 6’03”, wearing a black T-shirt and light blue jeans. Surveillance video is attached.
