SAN ANTONIO-Clara E. Bailey, 71, received her reward of eternal rest on Monday, June 27, 2011, at N.E. Baptist Hospital in San Antonio.

A service of remembrance will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary.

Clara was born August 27, 1939, in Galveston. She was a retired LVN from St Mary’s Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a sister and brother.

She leaves precious memories with her daughters, Beverly Penson (Terry) and Annette Cooper; step-son, Eric Hamilton; grandchildren, Derrick, Kimberly, and Keith Copper, Jada Cunningham-Lacy, Chris Cooper, Charlese Stance; 9  great grandchildren; brother, Batiste Bailey (Ruby); sister, Lillie Bailey; a host of other relatives and friends.
