Brazoria County Commissioners Court today voted to schedule a public hearing on July 26 to consider the adoption of an order prohibiting littering of beaches in Brazoria County, as well as motor vehicle traffic on “any natural or man-made sand dune or other form of shoreline protection” on the county’s beaches. The commissioners court approved the renewal of a maternity and family planning services agreement with the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.

The commissioners court voted to approve the sale of several parcels of tax foreclosed property.

The commissioners court approved resolutions in recognition of Alvin Community College and The Pearland Center and to proclaim July as Adopt A Shelter Animal Month.
