Antoinette Marie Chachere, 63, passed away on July 7,2011, in Spring, TX.  Antoinette was born on February 29, 1948, to Robert and Florita Wilfred in New Iberia, LA. She was employed as Unit Clerk for 29 years at UTMB until her retirement.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Felix Chachere; sister, Patricia Dugas; brothers, Glen Wilfred and Randolph Jacquet. She leaves with cherished  memories, sons: Cornelius Chachere, Sr. (Tammy), Donavan Chachere (Selena) and Cory Chachere (Krystal); grandchildren: Cornelius II, Anfernee, and Jordan Chachere; Destiny Brown, Dedrick Connors, Destini Sigure; sister, Sheryl Wilfred;  aunts: Mildred Wagner; Bertha Marks; special friend, Cal Haynes; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5PM on Friday, July 15th, followed by a wake from 7-8 PM at the chapel of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary. Homegoing celebration will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at 11:00 am at the West Point Baptist Church with Pastor Kerry W. Tillmon officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
