Malloy & Son Funeral Home

Willie Mae NanceWillie Mae Nance, 89, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on July 14, 2011 at Gulf Healthcare Center in Galveston.  She was born in Galveston, Texas on September 7, 1921. 

Willie Mae was preceded in death by her mother and father, William and Edith Whitehead; husband, Julian Nance; daughter, Karen Garcia, daughter-in-law, Mary Comeaux, and grandson, Christopher Krohn.;

She is survived by her sons, Steven and wife, Jacqueline Nance; Barry and wife, Christina Nance; daughter and husband, Marsha and Rudy Krohn; grandchildren, Amy, Ashley and Aaron Nance; Kelli Marshall; Andrea Kennedy; and great-grandchildren, Xchyler Armstrong; Eddie and Joey Kennedy; and Caitlyn, Kayleigh, Kyle, and Karina Marshall.

The family will receive visitors at 10 am on Monday, July 18, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home with the funeral service to follow at 11 am.  Burial will follow at Forest Park Cemetery in Webster, Texas.

Willie Mae’s family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Gulf Healthcare Center who provided such wonderful care for their mother.
