Texas City ISD Board of Trustees

The Texas City Independent School District Board of Trustees on Tuesday voted unanimously to award a bid for the purchase and installation of furniture at Texas City High School to Virco Manufacturing Corporation in an amount not to exceed $1,249,566.

The school board voted to approve an agreement with Lone Star Educational Billing Services for management of Medicaid reimbursement submissions.

The school board held a public hearing regarding the need for and availability of child care for the district’s school age students.  No comments were received from the public during the hearing.

The school board voted to renew its agreement with SafeSchools for its online training program.   SafeSchools provides online courses in various topics of school safety.

All items were approved.  All votes were unanimous with all members present.  Agenda
