Santa Fe Independent School District is Paving the Way to a Brighter Future

The Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation has launched an engraved brick sale fundraiser. The personalized bricks provide a special opportunity to create a permanent, lasting impression for alumni, local families, community leaders, and businesses. All proceeds will benefit student programs throughout the district. Details of ordering a brick can be found at www.sfisd.org/educationfoundation or by calling 409-925-9080.

The bricks will pave the walkway to the new Elizabeth Yaws Cowan Education Center (formerly Cowan Elementary). “Many people have bought the bricks to commemorate their graduation year, honor a favorite teacher, and memorialize a loved one. Additionally, several local businesses are purchasing the larger bricks to show support for our students,” said Foundation director Jodi Gidley. “We are only selling 1,000 bricks for this project, so those interested should contact us soon.”

The Santa Fe Texas Education Foundation is a 501c3 non-profit organization that raises funds to support the students of SFISD.
