Friendswood resident, Terry Arnold, leads the effort to score a win in the PUMA Project Pink! for MD Anderson's Morgan Welch Clinic. This clinic was the first of its kind, opened in 2006, just one year prior to Ms. Arnold being diagnosed with Inflammatory Breast Cancer, (IBC) a rare but fatal form of breast cancer. Since her diagnoses, she has worked tirelessly for education on IBC. The efforts even included involving the State of Texas who honored her request to recognize IBC as a serious form of breast cancer and declared the month of October 2011 Inflammatory Breast Cancer month.
PUMA will once again help women in the fight against breast cancer by gifting the sales of “Project Pink!” to a breast cancer charity. If you wish to show your support to IBC and MD Anderson’s clinic, you may vote daily between Sept 26, 2011 - Oct 7, 2011 at www.puma.com/projectpink
The breast cancer charity with the most votes by that date will win all the proceeds raised by Project Pink!

Don't know what IBC is? Inflammatory Breast Cancer (IBC) is a rare and highly fatal form of breast cancer that is not typically discovered by mammogram and often occurs prior to standard breast cancer screening age recommendations.
