Beatrice Mullins
Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

Beatrice Mullins GALVESTON- Beatrice Mullins was born on March 5, 1937, in Opelousas, LA to the late Delmar and Juanita Mullins. She departed this life on Thursday, July 21, 2011, at the UTMB Hospital in Galveston. She united with the Jerusalem Baptist Church and was baptized by Pastor A.S. Johnson.  She was employed with the Galveston I.S.D. as a custodian in the Maintenance and Operations Department for 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; five brothers; and four sisters.  Precious memories will always be remembered in the hearts of her devoted brother, Jeffery Mullins, Sr. of Galveston, TX; devoted nieces Linda Mullins Pines of Hitchcock, TX and Rotanda Pines of Galveston, TX; devoted nephew David Mullins, Sr. of Galveston, TX; devoted and close friends Ms. Patricia Holbert, Tameeka Holbert, Brittney Holbert and Victoria Broussard  of Galveston, TX; sister-in-law, Ruth Mullins of Port Arthur, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and friends.

Aunt Bea was set in her own ways, but if you ask her for help, she would go out of her way to help you.  Your family loved you and going to miss your smiling face.

Visitation will begin at 5PM on Friday, July 29th, followed by a wake from 7-8pm at Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary.  Funeral services will be Saturday, July 30, 2011, at 11:00 am at Jerusalem Baptist Church, Pastor A.S. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.

Mullins family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff; nurses and doctors from MICU and T-10-C at UTMB, thank you.
