Over one hundred students and teachers from Alvin Independent School District’s 21st Century program recently visited Galveston College for a campus tour.
Galveston College is starting a new choir during the 2011 Fall Semester. The choir is open for all who enjoy singing. Our musical ensemble of singers welcomes new voices. No textbook is required. No Senior Discounts apply. The cost is $35. Classes are held from 7 p.m. to 9:50 p.m. on Mondays, from August 29 to May 12.
At the completion of the tour, a group picture was taken beneath the historic South Jetty lighthouse cupola of Beacon Square, located on the College campus at the corner of 39th Street and Avenue Q.
