Street Closure Announcement:  E. Virginia St. and University Dr.

Beaumont, Texas – Beginning today, the intersection of E. Virginia Street and University Drive will be taken down to one southbound lane. The intersection will be closed for the installation of a new junction manhole box drain. The closure is expected to last through Sunday, Aug. 21.

Motorists may detour the intersection on Alabama Avenue, Hartel Street, and Dewey Street. Motorists are asked to be aware of all advance warnings and signs, and to travel with caution.
