LIT, Entergy, Arbor Energy present energy seminar

BEAUMONT – Lamar Institute of Technology Workforce Training and Continuing Education Department, along with Entergy Texas and Arbor Energy Solution, will present an informational seminar on energy efficiency, and solar and renewable energy on Saturday, Aug. 20.

The seminar will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Multi-Purpose Conference Center on the campus of LIT, 802 E. Lavaca.

Topics covered include an overview of renewable energy, energy efficiency, solar power, a hands-on session with multi-meters and wiring, and a presentation on solar thermal energy.

Cost for the seminar is $20 a person. A pizza lunch will be served at noon.
