What Can Business Leaders Learn About Leadership from a Church?

Newark Mayor Cory Booker, Nobel Peace Prize Nominee Mama Maggie Gobran,

Squidoo Founder Seth Godin, Education Leader Michelle Rhee, and Pastor Bill Hybels Presenting to 165,000 Global Leaders August 11-12

League City, TX – On August 11-12, 165,000 business and church leaders will gather at Willow Creek Association churches throughout North America for a hard-hitting leadership conference. With world-class faculty from all walks of life, the Willow Creek Association believes church leaders have a lot to learn from business leaders…and vice versa. It’s upside-down thinking to some, but it works.

The Global Leadership Summit 2011 turns to leaders in business, education, government, and compassion arenas to guide the way at the 16th annual event that is broadcast live via satellite to 185 locations from South Barrington, Illinois. Clear Creek Community Church in League City, TX will be the local host site for this event. Later in the year, it will be videocast to more than 270 cities internationally.

Other speakers include:

  • Dr. Henry Cloud—Clinical psychologist, leadership consultant, and best-selling author.
  • Len Schlesinger—President, Babson College, Harvard professor, former vice-chair, Limited Brands.
  • Rev. Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil—Founder and President Salter McNeil & Associates, a Chicago-based leadership development organization.

Find more information about the Leadership Summit on the Clear Creek Community Church website at www.clearcreek.org/summit or call 281-338-5433. CCCC is a multi-campus, interdenominational church in the Bay Area with campuses in League City, Friendswood and soon to be in the Clear Lake Area this Fall. CCCC will be celebrating 18 years in the Bay Area this October.
