The La Marque Independent School District Board of Trustees canceled its Thursday meeting due to the lack of a quorum.
Trustees Joe Cantu and Cynthia Bell-Malveaux were the only members of the board in attendance. Therefore, no action on agenda items could be taken.
The did conduct its recognition programs, including the Summer Enrichment Volunteer recognition.
Items on the agenda, which will be considered at a future date, included appointment of board members to serve as delegate and alternate on the 2011 Texas Association of School Boards, and endorsement of a candidate for the 2011 Texas Association of School Boards Board of Directors. Agenda
