Health Unit Coordinator
The Health Unit Coordinator program provides the skills and knowledge necessary to work as administrative support in a health care facility, clinic or doctor’s office. Instruction is offered in medical terminology, communication skills, and department procedures and functions. Other topics include instruction in medical charts and forms, medical law and ethics, safety/risk management, and physician order transcription for unit clerk in health care facilities. This program includes a faculty supervised practicum. High School Diploma or GED is required. Textbook and flash drive required.

Classes begin September 12, 2011 and are held from 5:30-9:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Tuition is $600 and textbooks are not included in tuition cost.
