Free TCISD Parenting Workshop

Texas City ISD is hosting a free Parenting Workshop on Thursday, September 1 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. for all TCISD parents at Kohfeldt Elementary, located at 1705 13th Avenue N. The topic is “Parenting: It's Tough: Tips for taking care of yourself and preparing for difficult situations with your child". In this workshop you will learn: how development is important to consider in parenting; the importance of relaxation and strategies to stay calm with kids; and the benefits of planning when it comes to children and their behaviors. RSVP to your child's school and let them know if you need free childcare.
