Traffic Flow Changes on Doucette Street between Irving and Carroll Streets

Beaumont, Texas –As part of the Madison Street reconstruction project, Doucette Street between Irving and Carroll Streets will be changed temporarily to one-way, westbound traffic flow for the duration of the 15-month project. In addition, an all-way stop will be installed at the intersection of Doucette and Irving Streets.

City of Beaumont crews will begin traffic sign installation today to convert the street to one-way traffic flow.  The installation of these signs will take 1-2 days. Access for local traffic will be maintained throughout the conversion.  Through-traffic will be detoured around the closure. Motorists are advised to exercise caution and observe warning signs and barricades when traveling in the area.
