Kohfeldt Elementary school providing relief to TX school children
Kohfeldt Elementary School is implementing Kids Helping Kids to provide relief to victims of recent Texas wildfires. Kohfeldt students and community can donate items in special bins located at the school, 1705 13th Avenue North in Texas City, all other Texas City ISD schools, the administration building, and maintenance and transportation compound.
The Kids Helping Kids Drive will take place weekdays from Sept. 9-Sept. 16. Donations needed are: gently used clothes, toys and household items; magazines, books, colors, pens, pencils, markers, stamps, envelopes, diapers, laundry detergent, canned and non-perishable food items like crackers, dry soup, rice, beans, tuna, water, peanut butter, jelly, and non-refrigerated microwavable meals; toiletries such as body wash/soap, q-tips, wet wipes, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant disposable razors, shaving cream, hand sanitizer, etc.
