Environmental Educator Ellen Dacy reminds visitors, “The activities we’ve developed are easy, with directions and materials provided for attendees. All activities are geared toward getting outside and instilling a sense of wonder about the natural world.”
Take a Child Outside Week is a national annual event started as a way to get parents and children interacting together outside. This week of activities gives parents an opportunity to become more comfortable taking children outside and children will learn to develop a relationship with the natural world.
