Q&A with Pastor Amanda, founder-pastor of To God Be The Glory Ministries in Beaumont, TX
by Donald Lee
Wednesday, September 14, 2011

Pastor Donald Lee: How long have you been pastoring?

Pastor Amanda: Since 2005.

Pastor Lee: When did you learn of your "calling" to preach?

Pastor Amanda: When I was a child; it was confirmed along the way (in ministry) and I was positioned in 2005.

Pastor Lee: Is your church a denominational church or nondenominational?
Pastor Amanda: Nondenominational.

Pastor Lee: I noticed that your church is multi-ethnic. What have you done to
produce such a diverse following (in your church)?

Pastor Amanda: I obey the leading of the Holy Spirit — the Word of God — and I'm big on praise and worship.

Pastor Lee: What is the main subject you teach on? What is your church's mission

Pastor Amanda: The Gospel of Jesus Christ; obedience to the Word of  God; Spiritual Authority; Holy Spirit; walking in humility with a servant's Heart (Walk in the Spirit) and a repentive lifestyle.

Pastor Lee: How many members do you have at To God Be The Glory?

Pastor Amanda: 35.

Pastor Lee: What would you like people to know about you (and your ministry)?
Pastor Amanda: To God be The Glory Ministries centers on the scripture that declares: Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God and His Righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you. (Matthew 6:33)

Pastor Amanda says: "God has anointed this ministry to heal the brokenhearted, heal the sick and set the captives free. It's anointed to give sight to the blind," she says. "It is truly a Kingdom of God military hospital for rehabilitation, therapy, renewal, transformation, building up, and restoration, where you can see miracles and signs of wonders."

Pastor Amanda is a licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel, an Intercessory Prayer  Warrior, Exhorter and an Encourager.  She  shares the  Word of God in obedience to God as the Holy Spirit permits. She has answered and said, Yes, Lord I Love You, Yes, Lord I will serve You, Yes, Lord to Your will, Yes, Lord to Your way.  Trusting in the Lord and not leaning to her own understanding, knowing that the Lord’s will shall be done and GOD will get all  the Glory!

Pastor Amanda's philosophy on life: To walk through this life with the Holy Spirit in complete control, so when day-to-day life has its test and/or trial you can't help but to Trust God. Stay focused on what God's Word says in spite of what the World, situation, circumstance may be... But God. That is Why FAITH is so important and to know God for who He really is; through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit...Truth never a lie.
