CRAZY Mamas Kicks Off “Not in My Backyard” Campaign with Cupcake Social

CRAZY Mamas is inviting all Mamas (and Dads) to drop by the E. A. Smith YMCA on Thursday, September 15 between 10:30 and noon to find out more about the new “Not in My Backyard” Campaign.  CRAZY – Creating Resilient Aware Zealous Youth –Mamas is a campaign designed to strengthen parents response to the pressures put on kids today, especially when it comes to alcohol and drug use. 

“Not in My Backyard” is a campaign designed to help every family in the community to designate their home as a Drug and Alcohol-Free Youth Zone.  This means that they will not allow underage youth to consume alcohol and they will also monitor their medicine cabinets to keep an eye on the possible misuse or abuse of over-the-counter and prescription medications.
