Smiles on Wheels (“SOW”) is a single-day, dental “MASH”-style clinic, bringing much-needed restorative dental care at no charge to the Bridge City area. Over 20 dentists and other dental professionals, as well as over a hundred volunteers from the community, will be donating their time and talents to treat over 150 adults and children.

SOWs are sponsored by the Texas Dental Association Smiles Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public and profession about oral health and  improving access to dental care for the citizens of Texas. Since December 2008 (the program’s inception date), more than 2,430 patients have been treated, and over $1,363,344 in dental care has been delivered to Texas families in need through SOW events.

There will be a behind the scenes tour for press and VIPs beginning at 10am the day of the event.

• All members of the press will need to receive credentials prior to obtaining access to the event.
• Please meet in the Cafeteria for the start of the tour.
