Missouri City Fire Department Seeking Potential Witness

The Missouri City Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a potential eyewitness to a commercial structure fire that occurred on Aug. 15, 2011 at about 12:45 a.m.

The incident happened inside the Walgreens store located at 6120 Hwy. 6 in Missouri City, Texas.  When the City Fire Department responded, firefighters observed heavy smoke coming from the building. The incident commander secured the area and Investigator Rios went inside to inspect the fire scene. He concluded that fire damage was isolated to a “relatively small area” but the entire structure had extensive water and smoke damage. Rios also reviewed store surveillance footage that was recorded prior to the fire and it showed an unidentified man entering the store. Officials believe the man could have witnessed the incident and would like to identify and contact him.

The potential witness is Hispanic Male, late 20’s-mid 30’s, 240-250 Lbs., Black short hair and goatee, Black “Under Armor” baseball cap, Black T-shirt, Blue jeans, White basketball shoes. (Please see attached images for reference.)

Missouri City Fire & Rescue Service urges anyone with information about the fire or the witness to contact them at 281-403-4307.
