Distracted driving is a problem that is killing and injuring people. A recent accident really brought this home. Accident investigators reviewed the fatality victim's phone a string of texts time stamped in the minutes leading up to the accident were found. Also, one last partial text that was never sent.
There are all sorts of distracted driving; phone calls, kids, dogs, radio, but by far the worst just may be texting because of the attention required and time that eyes and mind are not directed at driving.
That said there is something you can do. First, don't do it. Second, most of us have "Smart" phones that allow us to program a signature that will be attached to the end of each text. You can program you signature to read "DT&D" as a simple reminder to "Don't Text & Drive".
Pass this on to your family and friends. You just may save one of their lives.
Thanks.
