Sept. 19, 2011 declared San Jacinto College Day

San Jacinto College (SJC) kicked off its yearlong 50th anniversary celebration on Monday, Sept. 19, 2011, with a special Board of Trustees meeting that featured music, interviews with former and current students and employees, and the declaration of Sept. 19, 2011 as San Jacinto College Day. Elected officials joined San Jacinto College Board of Trustees members, former and current students and employees, and community members to officially kick-off the College’s Golden Anniversary.
