The Hitchcock Independent School District Board of Trustees on Tuesday voted unanimously to name Durotech General Contractors, Inc. as Construction Manager At Risk for the new Hitchcock High School project.

The school board voted 4-0-1, with Shirley Price abstaining, to approve changes to grading guidelines as requested by the Texas Association of School Boards.

The school board voted unanimously to allow all district employees with a badge to be admitted to home athletic events for free.

The school board voted unanimously to make no changes in local policy EIC with regards to eligibility for the valedictorian and salutatorian.

The school board voted unanimously to approve hiring a fourth grade teacher.  The item was discussed during an executive session.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote.  Trustees Tom Ivey and Ted Robinson were absent.  Agenda
