1991 MURDER OF HCSO DEPUTY REMAINS UNSOLVED
HOUSTON – Today marks the 20th anniversary of the unsolved murder of HCSO Deputy Roxyann Allee. In hope that the public can help investigators solve the crime against one of the HCSO’s own, Sheriff Adrian Garcia and the HCSO’s Cold Case Unit, in collaboration with Crime Stoppers and the Greenspoint District, have announced an increased reward of up to $10,000.
On Monday, September 30, 1991, Deputy Roxyann Allee was abducted as she walked to her vehicle in the parking lot of Greenspoint Mall in north Harris County. A short time later Deputy Allee’s body and vehicle were found.
Witnesses in the mall parking lot at the time describe the suspects as follows:
Suspect #1: Black male, approximately 5'9" tall.
Suspect #2: Black male, late 20’s to early 30’s, tall muscular build.
