Retirement Reception planned for Dr. Williams on Thursday, October 13

The community is invited to a retirement reception honoring Dr. Leland Williams for his 16 years of service in the Dickinson Independent School District. Dr. Williams has served as the district's Superintendent since 1995 and was instrumental in the completion of three successful bond issues, increasing the district's fund balance, leading the district to earn its first-ever recognized district achievement this school year, as well as many recognized and exemplary achievements at the campus level.

The reception will take place in Dickinson ISD's Education Support Center, 2218 FM 517 East, from 3 p.m.- 5 p.m. Oct. 13. For more information, call 281-229-6080.
