Pretty in Pink: Ladies’ Night Out at Victory Lakes
GALVESTON — The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston is hosting Pretty in Pink: Ladies’ Night Out at the UTMB Specialty Care Center at Victory Lakes from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 12. The evening will include wine and hors d’oeuvres, make-up, shopping, massages and door prizes.
Guests will have the opportunity to tour the Victory Lakes Breast Health and Imaging Center, see the latest in digital mammogram technology and meet the clinical professionals who work at the center.
The event will also offer walk-in screening mammograms, breast health education and special gifts for the first 50 guests who wear pink. Admission to the event is free, and the walk-in mammograms will be billed through the patient’s insurance company. If the patient is uninsured, UTMB will offer a special $99 cash rate.
