The Hitchcock Independent School District Board of Trustees, in a special joint meeting with the district’s Redistricting Advisory Committee, made no formal approval of a redistricting plan, but will consider a plan at the board’s November 15 meeting.

The board discussed and considered the plan, which will adjust the boundaries of the school district’s single-member representative election districts.

The board voted unanimously to approve a recommendation for the hiring of a kindergarten teacher.

No other action items were on the agenda.   Trustee Monica Cantrell was absent.  Agenda
