FM 1765/ TEXAS AVENUE IN LA MARQUE TO BE CLOSED
BETWEEN DELANEY ROAD AND FM 2004
“Crews will replace existing bridge and work will take about 5 months”

FM 1765 between Delaney Road and FM 2004 in La Marque is scheduled to be closed to through traffic beginning Monday, October 17th. The closure will allow crews to replace a bridge on FM 1765 that is over a drainage ditch.

Residents of the Saltgrass Crossing subdivision will still have access to FM 1765 from FM 2004. The detour route will be posted. Motorists will be able to use Delaney Road and/or FM 2004 which both run perpendicular to FM 1765 as a detour.  Detour signs will also be posted to assist with traffic control. This closure is expected to last approximately 5 months.
