San Jacinto College cosmetology department to host Halloween hair contest

PASADENA, Texas — The public is invited to enjoy a "hair raising" Halloween contest hosted by the San Jacinto College Central Campus cosmetology department on Thursday, Oct. 27.
SJC students will unveil their creations at 2 p.m. at the Student Union Building in preparation for an awards ceremony. Categories for this year’s competition are in celebration of the 50th anniversary of San Jacinto College. The Raven and The Decades category will include hair and make-up and the 50th Anniversary of San Jacinto College category will showcase costumes, as well as hair and make-up.
The competition allows cosmetology students to express their creativity, perfect their skills and push their imagination. San Jacinto College Central Campus is located at 8060 Spencer Highway in Pasadena.
