Charlotte Heiman ColwellCharlotte Heiman Colwell, 73, of Hitchcock, Texas went to be with her heavenly Father, on October 14, 2011.

She was born on March 14, 1938 in Beaumont, Texas and she was a loving mother and wife. She retired from Clear Lake High School. She enjoyed her yahtzee club friends, was a member of The Dickinson Eastern Star, and a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Algoa, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Edward Heiman, and her second husband, Chester Colwell.

She is survived by her daughters; Margaret Powers, Wendy Taylor, and Pam Colwell and partner Kileen McDonald, sons; J.D. Heiman and wife Terri, and Eddie Heiman, sisters: Faye Hoover, Geneva Keeling, Loyce Welborn, Juanita Emert, brothers; Bob Downs and wife Melinda, Bill Downs and wife Betty, 6 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2011 at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the Chapel of Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. Burial will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery in Webster, Texas.
