James Richardson
Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary

James RichardsonJames Richardson, 59, departed this life on Wednesday October 19, 2011, at his residence.

James was born December 12, 1951, in Galveston to Jack and Anna bell Richardson. He was formerly employed with UTMB and retired from the Shriners Hospital for Children. He loved listening to music, collecting and creating African Art and also wood work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brother and a sisters.

He leaves with precious memories, his devoted wife: Linda Richardson; son, Lionel Richardson (Michaela); grandchildren: Christian James, Quincy, Kobie and Lynn; brother: Elijah Richardson; sisters: Cheryl Bryant (Ronnie) and Cynthia Smith; good family friend: Velma Lee Mitchell; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and numerous friends.

Visitation will begin today, October 26th at 5PM followed by a wake from 6-7 PM. A service celebrating his life will be held Thursday, October 27, 2011, at 10:00 AM in the chapel of Fields-Johnson Family Mortuary with Rev. Louis Simpson, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
