Brazoria County Commissioners Court on Tuesday voted unanimously to accept a proposal from Baker and Lawson, Inc. for professional services associated with the survey and design of a beach access road and parking lot along County Road 257.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to participate in the Texas Enterprise Zone Program.

A public hearing was held prior to consideration of the item.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to approve the temporary use of County Road 300J and County Road 703 for “Ghosts Along the Brazos”.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to create a part-time indigent defense position, and a part-time district court position.

The commissioners court met in executive session to discuss pending litigation matters.  However, no action was taken on the item.

The commissioners court issued a proclamation in recognition of Veterans Day, which is observed on November 11.

All other items were approved by unanimous vote.  All members were present. Agenda
