100 Wounded Service Members and Families Treated to Weekend
in Kemah November 4th - 6th
Kemah Texas - The Texas Salute To Military Service's (TSTMS) Annual Military Appreciation Weekend sponsors 100 Brooke Army Medical Center wounded military service members and their families to an all expense paid weekend at the Kemah Boardwalk. In addition, The Kemah Boardwalk is offering Military Discounts to all US veterans.
Texas Land Commissioner (Marine Corp Lt. Col.) Jerry Patterson will welcome the motorcade of wounded troops at 3:30 pm at the Jimmy Walker Community Center, 800 Harris Ave, Kemah. The weekend highlights include military displays and exhibitions, Star Spangled Fireworks and the opportunity to personal thank our wounded service members.

Friday - Nov 4th
3:30 pm Motorcade of Buses, Police Escorts, VFW Freedom Riders from San Antonio arrive over the Kemah Bridge.
3:30 pm Welcome Reception, Jimmy Walker Community Center, 800 Harris Ave, Kemah.
7:00 pm Concert for the Troops, Dean Seltzer Band, Kemah Boardwalk.
Saturday - Nov 5th
1:00 pm Texans Cheerleader Meet and Greet
2:00 pm Red Bull Para Glider Demonstrations
4:00 pm U.S. Coast Guard Air to Sea Rescue
6:15 pm SSG Tracy Labreque sings the National Anthem
6:15 pm U.S. Army Parachute Team "Golden Knights" land in the Boardwalk Plaza.
