HOUSTON, TX – Investigators with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office (HCSO) Homicide Unit are hoping the public can help provide information about a Mexican national murdered last month.

On Monday, October 24, 2011, at approximately 11:47 a.m. deputies with the HCSO responded to a call about a deceased Hispanic male lying on the roadway in the 9600 block of Tamara in north Harris County. The victim had no form of identification.

Fingerprints later identified the victim as Baldemar Angel Ramirez, a Mexican national.

The Mexican Consulate in Houston has been notified and is actively attempting to locate Mr. Ramirez’s family in La Huacana, Michoacán, Mexico. No other information about him or his killer(s) is known at this time.

Anyone with information about where Mr. Ramirez lived, worked, or was last seen can contact the HCSO’s Homicide Unit at 713-967-5810.

Your help with this case is greatly appreciated.
