Congressman John Culberson
News Release

Veterans Day Statement

Washington, DC – Congressman John Culberson (R-TX) issued the following statement regarding the settlement agreement in the Houston National Cemetery religious censorship case:

“As we observe Veterans Day, let us give thanks to those that have served our country in order to protect our individual freedoms.  Their service should remind every American that “freedom is not free”, and our utmost gratitude goes out to those who have answered the call of duty.  We also honor the men and women in uniform who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country.  My thoughts and prayers continue to be with every family that has lost a loved one serving in the United States military.”
