Lamar Theatre & Dance Presents ‘Glory Box’ starring Tim Miller
Beaumont, Texas – Internationally acclaimed performance artist Tim Miller will be in residence with Lamar University’s Department of Theatre & Dance the first week of December. On Thursday, Dec. 1, Miller will perform his acclaimed one-man show “Glory Box,” a funny, sexy and charged exploration of his journey through the challenges of love, marriage and equality for gay Americans. On Friday, Dec. 2, the department will present “Body Maps,” a student/faculty-performed benefit for the Triangle AIDS Network. “Body Maps” will be created from a workshop during Miller’s residency. Performances are for mature audiences only, and will be in the University Theatre, 4400 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway on the Lamar campus. Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. each night.
