Voters cast ballots on several state constitutional amendments and various local races during the election.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to award a $32,000 contract to L. Mobley Concrete Construction of Houston for concrete work to replace various sidewalks.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to award a bid to Statewide Traffic Signal Company of Houston for traffic signalization at County Road 48 and Palm Desert/Rio Lindo Drive.

The commissioners court voted unanimously to cancel bids for a boardwalk and dune walkover. The item was canceled due to revised specifications for the project, which will be re-bid.

Award of a contract for a telecommunication audit was pulled from the agenda. No action was taken on the item.
