Shepherd School of Music offers holiday concerts
and other performances before end of fall semester
HOUSTON – Some holiday concerts are among the following performances scheduled before the end of the fall semester at Rice University's Shepherd School of Music. Unless otherwise noted, admission is free, no tickets are required and events will be held in Alice Pratt Brown Hall on the campus of Rice University, 6100 Main St.
What: "Glorious Music for Chorus and Organ for the Season of Winter/Advent/Christmas," featuring the Rice Chorale.
Where: Edythe Bates Old Recital Hall and Grand Organ.
When: 8 p.m. Nov. 28-29.
What: Shepherd School Chamber Orchestra concert.
Where: Stude Concert Hall.
When: 8 p.m. Dec. 1.
What: Shepherd School Symphony Orchestra concert.
Where: Stude Concert Hall.
When: 8 p.m. Dec. 2.
What: "Spirit of the Season: A Special Shepherd Society Holiday Event."
Where: Grand Foyer.
When: 7 p.m. Dec. 3.

What: Shepherd School of Music Faculty Recital with Robert Moeling on piano.

What: Houston Friends of Chamber Music, featuring the American String Quartet and Shepherd School faculty member James Dunham on viola.
