Street Work: Dowlen Road from Eastex to Ridge Lane
Beaumont, Texas – Beginning Tuesday, Nov. 29, city crews will be performing routine maintenance on Dowlen Road from the Eastex Freeway to Ridge Lane. Work is expected to continue through Friday, Dec. 2.
Crews will begin work at 4 a.m. and be concluded by 10 a.m. throughout the project to minimize disruption to traffic and businesses in the area. Due to deteriorating condition of the road in the last few weeks, the work could not be deferred until after the holidays.
Motorists are advised to exercise caution and observe warning signs and barricades when traveling in the area.
