Baytown Symphony Orchestra presents
A Christmas Celebration
BAYTOWN, Texas
– The Baytown Symphony Orchestra’s 44th
Elegante
Season continues Saturday, Dec. 3, with
A Christmas Celebration
.
Under the direction of Conductor Dennis Eichler, the concert will feature combined performances by the Lee College Choir, Baytown Community Chorus, and the First United Methodist Church of Downtown Houston Sanctuary Choir.
The performance will feature selections including Anderson’s “Sleigh Ride,” “Suites No. 1 and 2,” from Bizet’s ballet,
L’Arlesienne
, music from the popular film,
The Polar Express
, John Bass’ “Glad Tidings,” “A Carol Selection” and Grainger’s “Shepherd’s Hey.”
The concert will conclude with an audience sing-a-long of the “Hallelujah Chorus,” taken from Handel’s
The Messiah
.
A Christmas Celebration
will be held at 7:30 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 3, in the Lee College Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for students and seniors, and may be purchased online at
www.baytownsymphony.org

A limited number of tickets will be available for purchase on the evening of the event.
As a courtesy to musicians and audience members, the Baytown Symphony Orchestra’s Board of Directors asks that children under the age of seven not attend concerts.
