The Texas City Independent School District Board of Trustees on Tuesday voted unanimously to accept more than $127,000 in gifts donated through the Texas City ISD Foundation for the Future.

The donated funds will be used toward grants.

The school board voted unanimously to approve personnel matters as discussed during executive session, including hiring of professional and non-professional personnel and contract renewals and non-renewals.

During the meeting, the board held its recognition ceremony, which took place at the Texas City High School Auditorium.

No other action items were on the agenda.  Trustee Bryan Thompson was absent.  Agenda
