Today through Sunday (Dec. 4) Houston police officers will begin collecting food for the needy as part of the 26th annual "Comida" ("Food" in Spanish) Drive. Dozens of officers will be present at 14 area Fiesta Mart stores throughout the city of Houston to collect food and monetary donations aimed at feeding thousands.
From 1 to 7 p.m. TODAY AND TOMORROW (Friday) and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday ad sunday, HPD officers will be available to greet customers, collect donations and provide media interviews at the following Fiesta Mart locations:
