The Holiday in the Park Festival and Parade is scheduled for Saturday, December 3 at 6:30 p.m. Due to the parade, the City of League City is closing FM 518 from SH 3 to FM 270 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Additionally traffic will be diverted in several areas to avoid the parade route. Below is a list of traffic detours:
 

• All traffic approaching the five corners intersection will be diverted north and south on 270 to either NASA Rd. 1 or SH 96.
• All traffic approaching the Hwy 3 and FM 518 intersection will be diverted south on SH 3 either to NASA Rd. 1 or SH 96.
• Walker St. will not be open to through traffic. Barricades will be in place to eliminate traffic travelling through the neighborhood. Police will be directing traffic to SH 96.
• Texas Ave. will be closed to through traffic from FM 518 to Walker.
