Aggravated Robbery Suspect Arrested

On 12/01/2011 Detectives with the League City Police Department received a tip on a possible suspect in the string of armed robberies that have taken place at the Cricket Mobile Phone Stores in LaMarque and Dickinson and the Waffle House in League City.

The suspect was positively identified from a photo lineup as the actor in the Waffle House Robbery and League City Detectives obtained a warrant for his arrest.  He was arrested shortly after he left his residence. Detectives from League City and Dickinson questioned the man who denied any involvement.  Detectives did recover clothing similar to the clothing worn by the actor in the Dickinson Cricket Store Robbery from the suspect's vehicle.

The suspect was positively identified from a photo lineup as the actor in the Dickinson Cricket Store Robbery.  Dickinson Detectives will be obtaining a warrant for his arrest.

The LaMarque case is still under investigation.

Richard Milton Bryant, 55 years old, from Hitchcock has been charged with one count of Aggravated Robbery with a bond of $800,000.  Charges on the Dickinson and LaMarque cases should be filed next week.
