San Jacinto College Central celebrates volleyball’s top-10 national finish

PASADENA, Texas — San Jacinto College (SJC) recently held a celebration in honor of the volleyball team, which placed fourth in the nation during this year's National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) national tournament in West Plains, Mo.

For San Jac (32-5), it was the sixth-consecutive top-10 national finish under Head Coach Sharon Nelson. San Jac entered this year’s national tournament seeded fourth, after ranking in the top-10 for most of the regular season. It was the 14th overall appearance in the national tournament, and San Jac’s eighth in the last 10 years.
