Bay Area Houston Has Holiday Fun for Everyone

BAY AREA HOUSTON, Texas – Don’t miss a minute of fun in Bay Area Houston during the holiday season. Make the most of the festivities with a day by the bay to shop, spend time with your family and enjoy a spectacular Bay Area Houston event.

League City 50th Annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade

Boats of all sizes strung with multi-colored Christmas lights and festively decorated for the holiday season will parade from the Nassau Bay Lagoon and South Shore Harbour, travel the channel past Seabrook and the Kemah Boardwalk into the bay and back on December 10. The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce hosts this annual event with a committee of volunteers. “The parade has continued to be a successful project and averages one hundred or more participants every year,” said Parade Chairman Jim Christiansen. Spectators gather to watch the parade from shore in Nassau Bay, Seabrook or the Kemah Boardwalk.

Christmas in Kemah

Kemah’s annual holiday season has officially begun with the start of Christmas in Kemah. The schedule of festivities is packed with fun for the whole family, with Blizzard by the Bay, Christmas Story Telling, Holiday Ice Carving and more going on through December 17.

Bay Area Houston Ballet Presents The Nutcracker
