League City 50th Annual Christmas Boat Lane Parade
Boats of all sizes strung with multi-colored Christmas lights and festively decorated for the holiday season will parade from the Nassau Bay Lagoon and South Shore Harbour, travel the channel past Seabrook and the Kemah Boardwalk into the bay and back on December 10. The Clear Lake Area Chamber of Commerce hosts this annual event with a committee of volunteers. “The parade has continued to be a successful project and averages one hundred or more participants every year,” said Parade Chairman Jim Christiansen. Spectators gather to watch the parade from shore in Nassau Bay, Seabrook or the Kemah Boardwalk.
Christmas in Kemah
Kemah’s annual holiday season has officially begun with the start of Christmas in Kemah. The schedule of festivities is packed with fun for the whole family, with Blizzard by the Bay, Christmas Story Telling, Holiday Ice Carving and more going on through December 17.
Bay Area Houston Ballet Presents The Nutcracker
Start a family holiday tradition with Bay Area Houston Ballet’s The Nutcracker, a creative 19th-century story of a nutcracker that turns into a prince performing on December 9, 10 and 11.

Get your list crossed off at Bay Area Houston shops. The Kemah Lighthouse District and Kemah Boardwalk offer unique shopping in addition to fine dining and family-friendly entertainment.
