Freddie Jean Hill-Grimes, 60, received her reward of eternal rest on November 24, 2011, at UTMB Hospital.
Visitation will begin at 11 AM on Saturday, December 10, 2011 followed by funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at St Luke Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Wheat officiating.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Freddie and Doreatha Hill; grandparents, Maggie Bryant and Earl Wimberly; brother in law, Oliver Grimes, Jr. and many precious loved ones.
She leaves to cherish memories, a loving husband, Preston Grimes; devoted children, Denetral Hill, Dana Hardeman (Michael), Preston Grimes (Tashonda), Barbara Robinson (Wilbert) and George Grimes; brother, Ray Hill; sisters, Thenoria Boutte, Aurbon Lewis, Barbara Stamps, Scharon Wood (Mark), Mary Thibodeaux(Oliver) Jacqueline Anderson, Phyllis, Cynthia, and Stephany Hill; extended sister, Ann Cook; father and mother in law, Oliver and Geneva Grimes; 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild; host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
